Port Alfred is a small town with a population of just under 26,000 in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. It is situated on the eastern seaboard of the country at the mouth of the Kowie River, almost exactly halfway between the larger cities of Gqeberha and East London and 30 kilometres west of Cannon Rocks.

Situated along the banks of the Kowie River lies the town of Port Alfred in the Eastern Cape. We spent 2 nights and 3 days exploring this town as well as a quick visit to Kenton-On-Sea. It's certainly a town worth visiting.

An aerial view of Port Alfred on the last day of 2015. It was a beautiful sunny day and we had a few days of Westerly winds blowing turning the sea into this beautiful turquoise colour. The sun was shining and the weather has been perfect for people on holiday.

Situated along the banks of the Kowie River. Port Alfred in the Eastern Cape of South Africa hosts some of the most beautiful beaches in the country. An abundance of wildlife roam the area as the little town is surrounded by big 5 game parks. The scenery is stunning, the air is fresh and the people are amazing. This is where I have grown up and a place I am proud to call my home...Enjoy
